9 Tips To Remove Permanent Tattoos

For some, tattooing is simply stylish, for others, it might not go away from memory, for some, it might be a lifestyle. However, it is somewhat a risk as you may feel differently about the tattoo you have in your body in the future and then removing it may be quite a task. When you come up with such a scenario, then this article will help you get rid of the unwanted without twitching.

How do I remove a permanent tattoo?

Tattooing is a form of body-art. For most, having a tattoo is an integral part of themselves. It indicates people's opinions, beliefs, and feelings. However, down the line, your thinking process may change, you may not feel the same way about someone, or you may just want to be replaced by a new one. This is required when taking away it, but doing so is neither cheap nor easy and, most crucially, more stressful than etching it. Also, while doing so, it may cause serious infection, resulting in damage to the skin.

4 Surgical methods to remove a permanent tattoo

Elimination of tattoos can be as tiresome as inking them. Though, people don't mind this very long, costly and painful procedure.

1) Laser treatment :- People ask, "Can a perpetual tattoo be removed?" The answer is yes. The laser is the most popular way to do this, even though the method is very painful and expensive. In this process, instead of removing the layer of the skin, more importance is placed on removing the ink. The process collapses the pigment shades of the ink by exposing it to a strong-intensity beam. Tatoos inked in black became easier to replace than colored tattoos. Two types of laser strategies that can be used to extract tattoos are active and passive.

The Passive Laser method is done in salons and is cheaper than Active. The active laser removal method is, however, a bit expensive side but a more optimal way to remove the ink. It is conducted by dermatologists that need several sessions.

2). Cryosurgery or say cryotherapy:- Cryosurgery or say cryotherapy is most commonly used to erase warts and to cure skin cancer. Today, however, this therapy is used for the successful elimination of tattoos. In addition to dermabrasion(another removal method), cryosurgery is performed by exposing the tattooed of skin to freezing temperatures with the help of liquid nitrogen. This causes frostbite in that particular area of skin after which the area is abraded by the dermabrasion method to get rid of the skin's topmost layer. It causes frostbite on the skin after which the surface is abraded by the dermabrasion process to remove the topmost layer of the skin.

3).Surgical Excision -This technique is also quite effective and works best on smaller tattoos that are covered in places where skin can be scarred. Since the tattoo is surgically removed, it's spot-on and does not result in allergic reactions, such as laser responses for some people. However, this removal method requires stitches so leave a mark for rest of life and may also take weeks to heal.

4). Intense Pulsed Light System -The wide spectrum of light included in this system helps to remove the epidermis by breaking down the pigments of color as in the laser case. Over time, the tissue is healed, giving way to a new layer of skin regeneration. The best part is it's highly effective in the extraction of scars and less harmful than laser therapy.

5). Lemon and Salt

Salt is affluent in chlorine and sodium, and lemon juice has bleaching components. Salt penetrates deep into the skin and fades the ink, and vitamin C in lemon juice fills up the skin. This is a great way to remove a permanent tattoo by applying lemon juice. Apply a solution of mixed salt and Lemon Juice. Use a cotton ball, spritz the area with the solution, keep rubbing for half an hour to one hour. All scratching trigger you a sore.

6). Apricot Scrub and Salt

Mix apricot & salt and brush it on the tattoo. Salt splash the upper layer of the skin, and the apricot has blurred the ink. The method is only partially effective when the tattoo is removed.

7). Concealing it with Make-Up

People who cannot prepare minds for surgical tattoo removals or natural reduction methods, for fear that they either costly or painful. Covering it with a tattoo cover could be the best way out. They are not like any normal concealer but are specially designed to camouflage tattoos.

8).Balm

Wrecking balm is a great way to get rid of a homemade tattoo without pain. All you need to do is rub it over the tattoo and be careful because it could take a long time before the tattoo fades and several bottles. Not only does the balm take away the tattoo but it also nurtures the skin during the phase. The drug is a little completely worth the money overall.

9). Home-made tattoo removal cream

The best way to apply creams that are available in the stores is to remove tattoos. Alternatively, make one at home using both new and natural ingredients. So how are you going to make one? Take fresh aloe vera pulp and blend it with one tbsp of Paderia tomentosa juice (it would be better to get fresh leaf juice) and two capsules of vitamin E. Apply the mixture and massage well above the tattoo. Then wash in luke-warm water.

IN YOUR FACE: Face tattoos becoming more common

Face tattoos are becoming all the rage with celebrities.

Supermodel Cindy Crawford's son Presley Gerber recently revealed the word "misunderstood" permanently tattooed on his right cheekbone. Former child star Amanda Bynes has a heart inked on her left cheek. And model Amber Rose chose to keep a reminder her sons' nicknames — Bash and Slash — directly on her forehead.

At Toronto's Ink and Water tattoo studio near Lansdowne and Bloor Sts., tattoo artist Gianina says she's done up to 10 face tattoos on request, though they're definitely not as common as other parts of the body.

Supermodel Cindy Crawford's son Presley Gerber recently had the word "misunderstood" tattooed on his cheek. (Instagram)

"Tattoos used to be covered up, so you didn't see them," she said. "Then, we see things like sleeve (tattoos) and now, it seems we want more. People want to express themselves and show their personalities."

Gianina said having a "moral obligation" to have that "are you sure about that?" conversation with the client might be putting it strongly. However, she will lay out the potential risks — including the face tattoo being a negative for employers — to the client ahead of time in a non-judgemental way.

"We have the responsibility with our clients," she said. "Some other artists may say 'Go for it' or others don't do it at all. We live in a modern world that is still ruled by old-fashioned rules. At the end of the day, it's your choice."

A face tattoo by Gianina ranges from $150 to $300, depending on the size and how intricate the design is. On the face, she's inked a semi-colon — the symbol for mental health — a butterfly and sparkles, in the past.

She likens the pain of getting designs on the face to "popping a pimple," as opposed to other areas such as the neck, palms of the hands or elbows where there isn't as much flesh and you can feel the vibrations of the tattooing machine.

OKAY PEOPLE LISTEN UP-i was watching on (like everyone did,) and i noticed something on taehyung. yes he did have a face tattoo saying "the shadow in me" but also i don't think many people noticed he has some cracks? on his neck?PEOPLE NEED TO SEE THIS pic.twitter.com/QnJ9nbqNjR

But what happens if the beloved face tattoo turns into a buyer's remorse situation?

"As you might expect, as face tattoos are becoming increasingly popular, the need for removing face tattoos has been going up quite a bit over the past three or four years," said Mike McLaine, owner of Prescision Laser Tattoo Removal and Skin Care.

"People have so many good reasons to remove a tattoo, but placement is not the most common. But when it's the face, it's the most common reason. They may like the tattoo, but they later realize, this is my showpiece and once you live with it for a while, you don't really like the fact people always stare, so much judgement. We see a lot of regret the more it becomes mainstream."

McLaine said they get customers coming in every week or two asking for face tattoo removal.

"Recently, there was a student, with a cross on his face and he'd only had it for about a year and he realized it was a job stopper," he said.

The tattoos on the face and neck tend to be easier to remove than the same tattoo on a calf, and that has to do with better circulation and proximity of lymph nodes, said McLaine. On average, there needs to be five to 10 half-hour treatments, each six weeks apart. And depending on the size of the art, it will cost somewhere around $300.

"It's not the quickest thing," he said.

Gianina said she wouldn't be surprised to see face tattoos become commonplace.

"It's nice to break down the stigma of tattoos," she said. "I know it's trendy among celebrities, but it's cool that people might one day see a person with a tattoo on their face and they're not going to run away."

People are getting tattoos on their faces. Meet the artists who say they have a moral obligation to stop them

SALT LAKE CITY — CJ Fishburn has nothing against tattoos; three-quarters of his body is etched in ink. He is writing a book about the history of tattoos, and he's been a tattoo artist for 16 years. Just don't ask him to put one on your face.

Fishburn, 36, is among tattoo artists who decline to do facial art, saying they have a moral obligation to turn down these requests because of potential social consequences. But the requests are coming more frequently these days, thanks to celebrities who post their facial tattoos on Instagram and other forms of social media.

Most recently, Presley Gerber, the 20-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford, had the word "MISUNDERSTOOD" tattooed under his eye. Other celebrities with face tattoos include Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Amber Rose and Utah-based hip-hop artist Post Malone. Rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor, who goes by "The Game," had Kobe Bryant's signature tattooed on his face after the basketball star's death.

But face tattoos remain rare among noncelebrities, in part because artists are reluctant to do them because they've witnessed regret in those who have them.

"In my experience, most people I know who have face tattoos, or even neck and hand tattoos, generally wish they didn't have them," said Jason Sara, an artist at Yellow Rose Tattoo in Salt Lake City.

More bluntly, New York City tattooist Carlos Delgado told Kirsten Fleming of the New York Post, "It's not my job to ruin somebody's life."

With the International Tattoo Convention taking place in Salt Lake City Feb. 21-23, artists from around the world will be demonstrating their talent at the Salt Palace. Here's why many of the best will only work from the neck down.

Fishburn, who works at Look Look in Sugar House, said that face tattoos have a long and rich history; our ancient ancestors used them to identify their tribes. Later, facial markings showed a person's status in society and was a way of identifying criminals, or showing gang membership. Today, tattoos remain an "x" mark, "an out-of-society mark" that signifies the tattooed person does not wish to conform to societal norms, he said.

It may seem ironic, then, that tattoos are becoming more accepted, driven in part by celebrities showing theirs off on social media. More than one-quarter of Americans have at least one tattoo, and researchers at Baylor University in Texas recently found that one-fifth of tattoos on that campus are symbols of religious faith. That said, many churches still discourage the practice, citing a line in Leviticus that says people should not cut or tattoo their bodies.

The U.S. Armed Forces, facing up to estimates that nearly half of millennials have tattoos, have relaxed their policies about body art in recent years, but all branches of the service still prohibit tattoos on faces.

"I don't think face tattoos will ever be acceptable the way other tattoos are," Fishburn said. This is why his motto is, "Give people what they want, not what they ask for."

"Honestly, people do not know what they're getting into," he said.

Unlike tattoos elsewhere on the body, facial tattoos can't be covered up with clothing, and makeup is only so effective. And even people who make their living giving people tattoos acknowledge that a stigma exists.

"Being visibly tattooed does change the way people treat you, whether people want to believe that or not. You will be looked at differently. And it is something that still can hold people back," Sara said.

"You get on the internet and see these people who are heavily tattooed, and you think they live totally normal lives and (celebrities) probably do, but that's not true for everyone if you tattoo your face."

A long game

With just the word "MISUNDERSTOOD" tattooed on his face, and a supermodel mom, Gerber can afford to skirt societal norms at age 20. But job discrimination is real for people with facial tattoos, tattoo artists say, so much so that these tattoos are sometimes called "jobstoppers." This is why Delgado, in Manhattan, told the New York Post "I have a moral obligation to educate people before they get one."

Russ Quinn, the owner of Divine Tattoo Parlor in Kansas City, recently undertook tattoo removal as a form of ministry. He is donating his time to remove multiple face and neck tattoos that a former inmate got while he was in prison. The one on his chin says "SIN."

On a pain scale of 1 to 10, Quinn said the procedure is easily a 10, and the felon's tattooing is so extensive that it will take about 10 sessions over the course of a year to remove all the art. If the man were paying cash, each session would cost about $400, Quinn said.

Quinn, owner of Divine Tattoo Parlor for 22 years, said he will occasionally tattoo faces for friends who have careers in which the ink doesn't matter. "But if it's a stranger, I'm like, no, I can't do that. We can pick and choose if we like; it's our right." (For the record, he also tries to dissuade potential customers from getting a lover's name in ink.)

Removal is done with a laser that breaks up the ink under the skin. "It's two or three times more painful than getting the tattoo," he said.

Fishburn, in Salt Lake City, said that people sometimes get upset when he tells them he won't do a tattoo on their face, saying that they have a job where the art is OK. But Fishburn and his compatriots are playing the long game when they turn away clients.

"I say, you're not going to have that job forever. And what about the PTA meeting that you don't know you're going to be at?" Fishburn said.

He won't even recommend other places they can go. "I just say, I can't name a single reputable place that would do that for you."

Sara, at Yellow Rose Tattoo, said he got into the business in part because he likes people who buck convention. But face tattoos, he said, are something he won't do at this stage of his career, believing that anything so consequential should only be done, if at all, by people who have been doing tattoos for 20 or 30 years.

"Another thing that makes people wary of it is, if you tattoo someone's face and it ends up injuring their life in any way, you would feel a sense of responsibility," Sara said. "We don't want to ruin anyone's life. We just want to improve it."

Ever wonder what to do before getting a tattoo? We asked the pros for you

I walked in to get my first tattoo with five of my best friends, a grainy photo of an infinity sign from Pinterest, and zero idea what I was in for. Spoiler alert: That wasn't the right way to play it. Knowing what to do before getting a tattoo is as important as knowing what to do after you get one. After all, you want to make sure that you won't wind up with permanent body art that you're going to regret five years (or five minutes!) after the ink has dried.

While the Internet is chock full of knowledge about what to do before getting a tattoo, it can admittedly be hard to wade through all of that intel. To make things easier, we went straight to the pros, and asked celebrity tattoo artist Winter Stone (who's responsible for inking some of your favorite celebs, like Mandy Moore and Lady Gaga) as well as tattoo removal specialist and owner of the Finery, Carmen Brodie, to share the inside scoop. Read on for what they wish every client knew before going in to get inked.

Think it through

While it might be tempting to get, "I HATE JASON" tattooed on your arm immediately after a breakup or "RIP, Spot" on your leg after your dog dies, Brodie urges you not to do it. Instead, she suggests giving yourself some time between any major life event and getting ink to commemorate it. "You want to make sure you're in a good space mentally," she says. "If there's a lot of change, either good or bad, wait it out. You to make the decision when you're stable and happy." For example, she's seen a lot of people regret getting the date of a loved one's death tattooed on themselves, because instead of being a commemoration of life, it turns into a constant reminder of a tragic day. "Wait it out," she says.

Do your research

Walking into a random shop off of the street and trusting a complete stranger with something that's going to be on your body for life probably isn't the best idea, so it's important to come armed with information. "You have to do your research and understand what you want and how to get it," says Brodie. She suggests starting the process by looking through Instagram and figuring out what specific designs and styles you really love. From there, you can choose an artist whose work best fits with what you're looking for. In other words, maybe don't get someone who specializes in minimalistic line art to do a photo-realist tattoo.

Peep the pain chart

It's not exactly a secret that getting your skin injected with ink by way of a teeny, tiny needle is a painful endeavor. How painful exactly, though, depends on what part of your body you're getting tattooed on. This diagram lays out the most-to-least ouch-inducing spots, using a scale of "zero to pass out," and may be worth checking out so you know what you're in for. The least offensive locations? Your upper arms, forearms, calves, thighs, and the back of your neck.

Practice patience

Once you've determined exactly what you want and who you want to get it from, patience is a virtue. But, says Brodie, the wait will be worth it. "You may have to travel to get to the artist, there may be a wait list, but just walking into a shop and sitting with the first guy that's up on a rotation, [usually isn't the best idea]," she says. When people aren't willing to wait, she adds, they often wind up with tattoos they're not happy with. So do your research, find the proper tattoo artist, and then book an appointment (whenever that happens to be).

Check out the shop

While there is a lot of regulation surrounding tattoo shops, you'll still want to be sure that the one you're going to is, in fact, legit. "Research the shop that the artist is working at ahead of time. Is it well known? How many awards do they have? Are they an Ink Master? Are they somebody who's recognized? That's the way that you vet them," says Brodie. When you make it to the shop in person, you'll want to peek around for tell-tale signs that will let you know it's clean, which you should be able to get a sense of pretty quickly.

Be aware of aftercare

Once you've gotten a tattoo, it's time to let it heal. "The recovery process also varies from artist to artist, and of course the style of the tattoo that the person is having done," says Stone. "My healing process is fairly simple: two days with a clear wrap to protect the skin from the air and it drying out." After that, she suggests slathering on a  moisturizing balm twice a day for a week.

Understand that removal is possible… but it isn't easy

These days, thanks to advances in tattoo removal technology, it's easier than ever to have that regrettable butterfly erased from your lower back. But, it's worth knowing, "easier" still doesn't mean easy. "The removal process doesn't happen overnight. Generally, to have something all the way removed will take about a year," says Brodie. The laser tech used to erase regrettable tats, she explains, works by hitting the particles of ink and breaking them down until they're small enough for your body to attack and carry away. Treatments are spaced out over the course of six to eight weeks, and it can take between eight and ten treatments for a design to be totally removed. While tattoo removing laser technology has gotten a whole lot better over the years and can now be used on any skin tone, it tends to take longer to treat darker skin tones because there's a higher risk of discoloration, so technicians are more cautious with the level settings of the laser.

Tattoos can be therapeutic: here's how women are using them as a means for mental health recovery. Plus, how tattoos can prove that you're the ultimate boss of your own body.

Responding To Demand, The Finery Opens Sixth Location in Downtown Brooklyn

In its first week, the Brooklyn location lasered nearly 100 clients, adding to the clinical team's 100,000 successful tattoo removals since 2011. Nets player David Nwaba was the first to be treated in the new space. The Finery's expansion follows an overwhelming response to its two-year occupancy within Three Kings Tattoo Studio in Greenpoint.

"After an increasing number of requests from our clients, we knew we needed a more accessible location within Brooklyn," explained Carmen Vanderheiden Brodie, CEO of The Finery. "Our new lower Manhattan and Brooklyn locations will make it more convenient for people to pop in on their way home from work for the 15-minute treatment. We want to make it as easy as possible for them, and this location is incredible."

The Finery serves actors, musicians, and other well-known tattoo enthusiasts. "We love that for every new client, The Finery donates a free tattoo removal session to former inmates through its INK Program," said Pimentel. "Working on OITNB gave me a better perspective into what it takes to survive in prison and how important it is to help people get a new start after leaving."

The Finery offers a supportive and holistic process that makes laser tattoo removal accessible by creating a personalized plan that works for each individual client. As Johnny Depp learned the hard way, tattoos are forever. Or at least they're really, really hard to remove. And unfortunately, they sometimes outlast love.

The actor infamously transformed his tribute ink from"Winona Forever" to "Wino Forever" after his 1993 split from actress Winona Ryder. Years later, he changed his "slim" tattoo to "scum" and later "scam" after his tumultuous divorce from Amber Heard. (Slim was his affectionate nickname for her.)

Of course, it's not uncommon to commit to a tattoo that pays homage to a loved one, including tattoo wedding rings, which are becoming increasingly common. But if your relationship fails and you can't think of a suitable — or equally distasteful — alternative to transform your perma-mark into, removing may be the best option.

And now's your shot at a tabula rasa-fresh start for free: this month, Eraser Clinic's 10 Texas locations, as well as sibling company The Finery, will offer completely complimentary tattoo-removal services on ring fingers. Which is a great deal, of course, especially when you consider the average laser price can range from $200 to $500 per session.

The small print: the offer is good for one free "treatment toward a name, initial, or wedding band tattoo removal" from Feb. 6 through Feb 29.

"Tattoos can be a painful reminder of the past and can slow us down as we move forward in life," The Finery CEO Carmen Brodie said in a prepared statement. "We're excited to collaborate with fellow tattoo removers to help anyone struggling with a past relationship to move on, heal, and embrace what's next."

Feeling shy? Don't, Brodie says: "We have a shared common respect for your choices and believe that people should feel free to evolve as their relationships change. Thanks to constantly improving laser technology, no tattoo has to be permanent."

While tattoos are a beautiful form of self expression, we'd suggest sticking to "mom" the next time you're tempted to demonstrate your love through ink.

Soliton Files Special 510(k) with FDA for its Generation II RAP Device

HOUSTON, Feb. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Soliton, Inc., (Nasdaq: SOLY) ("Soliton" or the "Company"), a medical device company with a novel and proprietary platform technology licensed from The University of Texas on behalf of the MD Anderson Cancer Center ("MD Anderson"), today announced that it has filed for Special 510(k) Premarket Notification with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") for its Generation II Rapid Acoustic Pulse ("RAP") device.

The Generation II RAP device delivers the same tattoo-removal therapy as the Generation I device, but is slightly modified for improved ease of use in the physician's office. The Generation II RAP device constitutes the underlying technology of the RAP device that will be deployed in the limited U.S. commercial launch planned for mid-year 2020.  Although, similar technology was utilized in the Company's pivotal cellulite and proof of concept keloid scar trials, only the tattoo removal indication will be reviewed by the FDA in this submission and enabled during this initial launch.

The Special 510(k) filing states the device is indicated as an accessory to the 1064 nm Q-Switched laser for tattoo removal on the arms, legs and torso in Fitzpatrick Skin Type I-III individuals. Clinical trials have demonstrated that using the Company's RAP device, in conjunction with a Q-switched laser, allows for multiple passes of laser treatment in a single treatment session, resulting in accelerated fading in comparison to stand-alone laser treatment.

    About Soliton, Inc.

Soliton, Inc. is a medical device company with a novel and proprietary platform technology licensed from MD Anderson. The Company's first FDA cleared commercial product will use rapid pulses of acoustic shockwaves as an accessory to lasers for the removal of unwanted tattoos. The Company is based in Houston, Texas, and is actively engaged in bringing the Rapid Acoustic Pulse ("RAP") device to the market. The Company believes this "Soliton" method has the potential to lower tattoo removal costs for patients, while increasing profitability to practitioners, compared to current laser removal methods.  Soliton is investigating potential additional capabilities of the RAP technology in clinical and preclinical testing, including the potential to improve the appearance of cellulite by creating mechanical stress at the cellular level and inducing significant collagen growth and the potential to treat keloid and hypertrophic scars by targeting the stiffened environment in the intracellul ar matrix.

    Tattoo removal

Tattoo removal is, without a doubt, the most radical technique. In this case, the tattoo artist's goal is to completely erase the tattoo. The professional uses a laser to do this which, little by little, removes the ink that sits under the skin. Depending on how deep the tattoo is and the colour of the pigments, you may need several sessions at a minimum interval of two months.

Just like with all other techniques that exist, there are both advantages and disadvantages to this. Although modern techniques are a lot safer and the result is a lot more aesthetic than techniques from the olden days, such as dermabrasion, also known as a skin peel, in which the surface layer of skin is peeled off to make way for a new, smoother layer of skin to replace it, it should, however, be noted that having a laser tattoo removal procedure to remove a tattoo can, in some cases, cause small hyper- or hypo-pigmentation scars.

As another Gentside article has previously explained, depending on the area where you are having this procedure done, it can be quite unpleasant. Bony areas (such as the tibia, behind the ear, wrist or the ankle) are particularly sensitive.

In terms of the price, it's not exactly cheap and not all doctors necessarily charge the same amounts. Some start at around £50 for a single session plus the cost of the initial consultation with the dermatologist. But others can skyrocket to up to £350-400 per session. As is also stated in the article, how you pay for this treatment can differ depending on the type of laser used.

    Cover it up

If you don't want to completely remove your tattoo and think you may be able to fix it, you could always get another tattoo in the same area to either cover it up or improve it. This technique allows you to camouflage either the whole tattoo or just certain parts with a design of your choice.

However, you should always bear in mind that your new tattoo will generally need to be a lot bigger than the original if you are planning to cover it up completely. As Graphicaderme explains, you may also not have a lot of say in what colour you get either, because this will depend on your original tattoo as well. Your new tattoo will also need to be realistic and a plausible option with regard to your original tattoo. If you are looking for a bit of inspiration, there are lots of examples of tattoo cover-ups available on the internet.

    Communication is key

Before making a decision, take some time to think about it properly and don't hesitate to talk to different specialists who will be able to give you advice. To make sure you don't end up regretting your decision again, try to be as clear as possible about what you want from the very beginning, tell them if you have any concerns and you shouldn't end up disappointed!

Lamar Street Tattoo Club Upgrades Their Laser Tattoo Removal Services with the Etherea MX Platform Laser and DESCRIBE® PFD Patch

DALLAS, Jan. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Lamar Street Tattoo Club, Dallas, TX's premier tattoo shop, recently upgraded their tattoo removal laser to the cutting-edge Etherea MX platform system. Additionally, Lamar Street Tattoo Club now offers treatments using the DESCRIBE® PFD Patch, a groundbreaking laser tattoo removal accessory that allows up to four laser passes in a single treatment compared to a single pass without the Patch. The leading tattoo shop is renowned for bringing a higher standard to tattoo artistry and has created some of Dallas' finest quality tattoos. Lamar Street Tattoo Club has performed laser tattoo removal for several years to lighten tattoos and perfect cover-up artwork as well as help customers remove unwanted tattoos that they no longer identify with.

"Lamar Street Tattoo Club is built upon quality, customer service, and superior results. Upgrading to the Etherea MX is proof of our commitment to staying true to these three pillars," said Josh Hall, owner. "This new system delivers safer, more effective results for all patient skin types–something our previous system direly lacked. Now we're able to treat all patient skin types, particularly darker skin types IV-VI, with confidence. Combined with the DESCRIBE® PFD Patch, Lamar Street Tattoo Club can proudly say we offer the safest and fastest tattoo removal results throughout the greater Dallas area."

The Etherea MX laser is a versatile platform system that performs over 70 indications across seven handpieces. Lamar Street Tattoo Club has invested in the Etherea MX's Acroma-QS handpiece to perform advanced laser tattoo removal. The Acroma-QS handpiece's wavelengths, 1064 nm and 532 nm, are essential for removing a wide variety of unwanted tattoo colors.

The DESCRIBE® PFD Patch is a translucent silicone patch infused with perfluorodecalin (PFD), a harmless liquid that allows multiple laser passes in a single treatment session. Not only does the Patch allow up to four times as many laser passes per session compared to traditional treatment, it also promotes deeper laser penetration, faster clearance, and minimized risk of thermal injury.

"Josh and the Lamar Street Tattoo Club team are some of Dallas' most talented tattoo artists. They have an incredible passion for helping clients get the best tattoo removal results and always aim to provide a professional treatment experience," said David Murrell, President of Astanza. "We're proud to partner with a business that continuously strives to bring the best technology and tools to ensure their clients' success."

Lucy Hale undergoing tattoo removal treatment

Lucy Hale is undergoing laser surgery to remove six of her old tattoos.

The 30-year-old has been adding to her collection of body art consistently over the years and has a bunch of around 14 small and delicate tattoos on her body, mostly in places that can be hidden by clothing.

However, in a cover interview for U.S. Cosmopolitan magazine, Lucy revealed she was in the process of having six tattoos removed, including ones that depict an elephant, a light bulb, and a Bible verse.

"I got it done out of the country and it was not done well," the Pretty Little Liars star said of the elephant design, before adding that she was "over" the light bulb.

Regarding the Bible verse on her rib cage, she noted, "I'm not religious by any means at all anymore", and explained how the "thick" font isn't in keeping with the single needle art she has on the rest of her body.

However, there are several pieces of body art that Lucy has decided to keep, including "I love you" written in her grandmother's handwriting on her arm, an evil eye, and a quote from the Instagram poet Atticus which reads, "Love her but leave her wild."

In an interview with Refinery29 last July, the brunette beauty explained that she was removing some tattoos due to their outdated style.

"It's not that I don't like them, it's just the style of them is so different now," she shared. "I got them when I was like 17. Things are different, times have changed. I love a lot of mine, it's just like (I) look back on some, and I'm like, 'What was I thinking?"
